Sierra Cantabria CVC First Edition was born from a singular ambition: to create a wine capable of inspiring emotion across generations. Inspired by one of Rioja’s great historic wines, this project embodies the pursuit of a wine in which time, origin and excellence exist in perfect harmony.
From the outset, one conviction guided every decision: only an exceptional vineyard could give rise to a wine with a distinctive identity and extraordinary ageing potential.
The San Pelayo vineyard, planted in 1960 and north-facing, brings the freshness, balance and depth that define this wine. The assemblage of the 2008, 2009 and 2010 vintages creates a wine of remarkable complexity, elegance and nuance, while preserving the unique character of the vineyard.
Conceived to evolve gracefully over time, it reveals a new expression of its origin with every glass.
